Install Windows Powershell in Windows Server 2008
When you search “download Windows Powershell for Windows Server 2008” in Google, you will not find any great information. After a lot of search, I found that you don’t need to download this (like you do for other OS’s), instead add this feature directly within Windows Server 2008. Here are the steps:
- Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel & Open “Programs & Features”
- On left side, under “Tasks”, click “Turn Windows Features on or off”. This will open “Server Manager”
- Click “Features” from left menu. Now select “Add Feature” from right-side pane.
- Now check on “Windows Powershell” and click “Next” to install. This will finish the installation for you.
That’s it. It’s so simple.
Thanks for your suggestion. Just added it to my posts. You will find it below the title..
